New Hope United Methodist Church

Welcome To New Hope UMC's Youth Ministry

New Hope's Youth Ministry is dedicated to providing a safe and exciting enviroment for Youth in grades 6 through 12 to deepen their relationship with God, friends, family, and themselves. Most Youth events and activities meet in the Fellowship Hall of New Hope UMC.

Sunday School

Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m. and meets every Sunday, including summers.

Confirmation is a program intended to shape and prepare our sixth grade students to claim the name "Christian" and claim the name “United Methodist.” Please contact the Pastor to arrange for Confirmation classes. Would you like to know MORE ABOUT CONFIRMATION>>>

The Youth of New Hope UMC are involved in many outreach projects throughout the year. Some of the projects are helping with Vacation Bible School and gleaning fields. Middle School and Senior High youth have the opportunity to participate in a variety of local service projects, both as individuals and as groups.

Mission Statement:

Youth Ministry is a process, not a program, by which our youth are led to a deeper relationship with Christ and a deeper commitment to the work of the church in the world. It is a process that transforms people from being willing participants in church programs to being people whose lives are committed to being the body of Jesus Christ.
"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
(I Timothy 4:12)
